carlos + rebecca | e-session

I love referrals, and I loved working with Carlos and Giselle, as they were referred from Rebecca and Francis, another great couple. It was a cold night to do an engagement session, but they were great, sporting their t-shirts and all :)

andrea + maria | e-session

I had the pleasure of working with Andrea and Maria this past weekend. They're a really laid back couple with great energy between each other. I look forward to being a part of their wedding next year :)

dan + julia | wedding

I had a great time being a part of Dan and Julia's wedding. The weather was great, the location was beautiful, everything was awesome. All the best to Julia and Dan, as you head back to your home in Dubai :)

carolynne + anthony | wedding

Carolynne is a bit famous, yes, she is my celebrity bride :) She was featured on "Say yes to the dress" and she was a delight to work with, along with her great husband, Anthony. Congratulations to the both of you! I hope Hawaii was awesome! I love the way her face looks first thing in the morning and how it takes her two hours to get ready to go grocery shopping. I love how she cries over spilled milk and how passionate she is about everything she does. I love how I can always tell how she’s feeling just by looking at the expression on her face and how honest and open she is with everyone. I love that she’s so independent and stubborn but yet always lets me know how much she loves me and needs me. I love how she cooks everything in a wok (even pasta) and how she goes through four pairs of socks a day, how she always does the right thing and how no matter how poorly my day went, I always look forward to coming home to her and have her waiting by the door for me. But most of all, I love that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and the most thoughtful, beautiful, caring and compassionate person I’ve ever met. Over three years ago, I decided I was ready to meet someone who had all the qualities I wanted in a long-term partner. I remember talking to my mom about it, and I’m not sure if it was a symptom of the culture or my physical location in Arthur (no offence Arthur people), but I said “ I don’t want to date a guy who wears a baseball hat all the time”. My mother laughed, but that statement was really a commentary of something larger that I wanted in a partner. I realized I was looking for someone I had no possibility of meeting in my natural realm of my life. So I went on eHarmony, and when I went on, it was the first time I was really honest with myself, about what I thought I wanted, needed, and desired in a partner. When Anthony first messaged me on eHarmony, I almost didn’t write back, because he did not follow the proper four-step procedure of eHarmony. He skipped right to the fourth step, which was basically an email. I didn’t like that at first. But, Anthony said something in that email, which I’m happy to tell people privately, that made me laugh so hard, that I thought was worth it despite lack of procedure. There would have been no way possible way for me to know HOW worth it he really was. Anthony, you really have been everything I wished for in a partner, and more. You seem to like me even when I’m grumpy. You seem to like me even when I’ve not had enough sleep or I’m stressed. You’ve put up with me though this whole wedding process, and that’s probably enough for a marriage right there. You are so understanding, you listen to me wholeheartedly, you show your love to me so deeply and you’re so intelligent that I couldn’t possibly imagine living this life with anyone else but you. Since my grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary last year, we’ve been promising each other 60 years or more. I want to be there for the 60 years and much more from today on, because I know you will be there with me through thick and thin, with any and every problem we may encounter, because I really believe there is a reason you and I are together. I love how no matter what I say to you, about whatever “crisis” I am having, you’re always there for me normalizing any issues I have. I love you so much. I am so happy I’ve been able to marry you today. I promise now, today in front of our friends and family that I couldn’t have possibly wished for someone better and I cannot wait for the next 60 plus years with you.
